Just read in Entertainment Weekly that, "We're hearing that sci-fi drama Almost Human will be rebooted." Weeks ago, EW stated that the show was sure to be cancelled. Things change. Karl Urban said at Megacon in Orlando last week that he's pretty confident that show is being renewed. Contractual issues are being worked out that's why FOX hasn't made an official announcement yet.

EW writer clarified that by "reboot" he meant "renewed." He thought the reboot comment was funny, but conceded it was just confusing. So, sorry gang. Minka Kelly is still in the series.
shareI think the show has good chances of being renewed. FOX has been running S1 episodes on the weekends. I don't think they would do that for a show that has been/will be canceled.

Not if they have writers who know what they're doing. The only problem with Kennex/Stahl is Minka Kelly portraying her like a breathy 16 yr old. As another poster said recast with an actress not Miss breathy teenanger.

A few years back they did a Knight Rider remake. The 1st season didn't do to well so they rebooted it & got rid of most of the characters for season 2 but I don't thin it made it thru the 2nd season or was canned after it.
Agreed that they obviously should/must keep Kennex & Dorian AND Rudy. But the Captain is the FIRST character the should recast for and rewrite, b/c she's been worrrrrthless as portrayed in S01!

It definitely would be nice if they could "reboot" it. Particularly, air all the episodes in order this time instead of out of order. Kill the fanservice episode. I didn't like that one bit. But, the episodes focusing on the "Wall", they should be stressed more and more as you get closer to the season finale.
Fox needs to do the second season properly. I am still a bit dumbfounded as to why the episodes were aired out of order.

Some series you have to let grow. In the USA they are to eager to panic and cancel. They should have more faith in what they produce. But no the suits will never put themselves on the line for a show they believe in.

Then use that backstory to make Montenegro more than just the "female captian", but a strong gemale character that could kick anyone's posterior with a knowing look.
