Blade Runner

I thought I was in the Blade Runner Universe. Dark, kiosk eating places, lots of neon style lighting and damp looking. Only we were not looking for hidden synthetics. I was enjoying this as I did enjoy Dredd very much. But at episode 5 have no understanding why it has been cut unless it is all down to viewing figures. It seemed glossy enough.

This whole series is entirely derivative of much better shows, Blade Runner included. I find it hilarious and absurd how the technology in 2048 is not different or more advanced than what we have now. Yea there is a few more bells and whistles but there are way too many present references in this series which makes a joke of the future. The show has no imagination and I can see why it failed miserably and was canceled.

I find your lack of foreskin disturbing

I don't know what planet you're living on but all those 70's and 80's Sci-fi movies that predicted drastic changes in technology by the 2010's were obviously incorrect. Taking it a notch down and realizing that technology changes rapidly, but also consistently is a point that Almost Human understood and displayed.

And also there are freaking robots with feelings in this show...how much more new technology do you want to see?!

2048 is only 32 years away. We won't have different technology. There may be one or two new innovations we adopt that could change how we use technology, which is exactly how the show portrayed the future. I thought it well done.
A show or movie doesn't have to be innovative to be good. But if it isn't innovative it's gotta be incredibly well done. Almost human was just that. Great acting, directing, and writing.
