How can I watch this short film?

After seeing the unbelievable feature length movie that this short film inspired, I would like to watch it. Is there any way I can?

there should be a website that has nothing but great and famous short films that have been nominated or turned into feature films

It'll be on the DVD release, without a doubt, Whiplash DVD release date announced for February 24, 2015

There's a clip of it here (at the bottom) with an interview, and from what I've read it's basically a word for word short from the full length film with a different lead:

You're right, my bad. They made it sound like you could watch the whole thing but its not, the full short is 17 mins long

It's (apparently) going to exclusive to the Blu-Ray Disc release.

Is it? That's excellent news! It was initially reported that it was only on the Blu-Ray, but I'm guessing that you've seen that the report is false if you're telling me it's not. Thanks for the info. I might just pick up the DVD since my local video store is (apparently) sold out of the Blu-Ray Disc release.

Just watched it. 17 minutes long, basically the scene in the movie, with the chair throwing and rushing or dragging. But excellent of course

Pretty much the exact same dialogue and everything, the first time Andrew played with the band.
