Should it be called a Western?

Well, since "Western" is a genre, independent of the actual location, I think it fits.

For Western History, yes, but for film the location is usually in the Americas outside the Eastern States.

I've seen it called "spaetzle western", and I think it fits perfectly. Just like the Italian spaghetti Westerns - only with more eggs .

Spaghetti Westerns were filmed in Spain.

What can be asserted without evidence can also be dismissed without evidence.
