Remains to be seen

Why oh why did the director feel the necessity to throw in a "Carrie" like end to this decent, well-developed drama. I know the real killer had to be identified, but to bring in another psycho player at that late stage was just lame. Otherwise, I thought the ensemble did a great job, especially in the first couple of episodes, of trying to convince the Copper, they barely recalled the victim. Not only that, it was only the audience who know about the existence of the girl in the teachers flat.

Assoon as they showed the lesbian turn and walk away from the crime scene, well it was obvious, she had some involvement, then she was free enough to disappear for days from her relationship. Yet, her g/f spoiler is a homicidal psychopath in the making. I don't think they portrayed that relationship at all well, it was sloppy, those two share a dreadful secret, yet, inside their own two walls, its hardly mentioned, the relationship seems to be what triggers the action, not the past.

Those glaring problems seriously let this program down.

The ending was a little in the melodramatic side even more with the archery scene.
