My (decidedly mixed) review
The pros: Very good acting and a frightening villain as well as authentic-sounding legal dialogue (is the author a former barrister?)
The cons: Rubbish, unsatisfying plotting. It wouldn't surprise me if the author began writing Part 1 with no clue how he was going to resolve Part 3, and the best thrillers are always planned out ahead of time.
So, great beginning... lame ending.
My score: 5/10
