I can't imagine why this game is not more popular!

Even though the ending of this game is a bit different than I expected it to be... this game is truly a breath of fresh air! Mr. Drippy is a character all on his own, and I was excited to play a game that didn't revolve around guns and zombie monsters coming out at you.
I picked this game up for $70 dollars at Target around the time of it's release. The cover intrigued me to buy it and the price did also... what about this game deserved such a markup in price compared to all the others? I bought it and decided to try it out and was automatically drawn in with the gameplay and animations. The beautiful world map and of course the music done by the amazing Joe H... This game is a combonation of everything I love.

I'm a bit disappointed to see the price of this game has decreased so dramatically. I wish the producers of this game spent more time advertising this on TV. Like I mentioned before I only saw/heard of this game because I happened to walk by it in Target. I wish more people could experience this game.

Jrpgs are usually much less popular in the states than in Japan, binged through ni no kuni and like the most recent star ocean in like 4 days each, but every time I bring those games up to my gamer friends they have no idea what I'm talking about

Much less popular, for sure. I do think they're gaining popularity over in the states in the last few years, thanks to the efforts of companies like Atlus, Aksys, Level-5, etc. that are localizing them for the NA territories.

Only recently been getting into JRPGs myself, but I'm finding them to be a fun genre for me. Ni No Kuni is among the best games I've played in my 25+ years as a gamer.
