I just saw the trophy for the first time. It was a big crystal crown on a stand. When I first saw it, I thought it looked like an ice sculpture.
Would that not be just hysterical if it really WAS made of ice, and when the winner got home, he/she would have found it melted? It would be perfectly symbolic of how the show is perceived by many.
