I liked Jake from the start, but it took a little time to warm up to Alex. I didn't dislike her, but she just didn't thrill me. Now I'm loving them both; great additions to the cast. Sure hope they don't turn out to be red shirts.

I felt the same way but now that we're into more episodes they are definitely shaping up as great complementary characters and then some! I really like the addition of Benjamin Banneker to the storyline and that they're showing more of General Washington too! Really enjoyed the part about the Philosophers Stone last time giving some good reference on the hows and whys of Ichabod and HH's relationship!
So sad we are losing the boards this one in particular has always been one of my favorites! Sleepy Hollow has some awesome and intelligent fans.... Ha ha ha! That sounded a bit conceited didn't mean it that way.... Lol!
They are WAY more than just a couple nerds as they first depicted, and have grown well into their roles. Benjamin Banneker has been cool addition, too. Glad he wasn't a one and done character. I'm sad to see these forums go too, but themoviedb.org looks like a good replacement.
