I have the entire series on my DVR, and was planning on watching it this summer so no spoilers please.
Does it end on a cliff-hanger? I see it was canceled so if it does, I might just deleted it without watching it.

No it does not end on a cliffhanger in fact it's like a miniseries. I don't even understand how they could have a second season and I always thought it was a miniseries in the first place. Lets put it this way if they had a second season they would have to make up a new plot and story.
