I haven't seen this show, but I am currently watching the original Israeli show that this one was taken from. I am only on episode 4 of 10, so there is still a lot to go.

Until this morning, when you searched for Hostages here only this show came up. That has been fixed now and the same search will now also show the original, which is shown in it's Hebrew name, which, I believe, means Hostages in English.

Anyhow, if you can find it, I highly recommend it. Although I haven't seen this show myself (as I said above), judging from the comments here, not so many people liked it. If you like drama with thrills, the Israeli version may be your cup of tea.

The original is so much better, I've been watching on BBC FOUR.

I watched the American remake on Channel 4 last year and really wish I hadn't!

The original is 10 episodes, the remake 16. I think that's a big part of the problem. It seemed to drag on and on after about 6 episodes. After 7 episodes, the original still has me interested.
