Solid 7

out of 10.
Proper 'found footage' movie. Had fun!

I gave it an 8 because it captivated me from start to finish. Loved the Professor's deduction and reasoning to believe in this creature as well as his obsessive behavior where this ambition to find Frankenstein superseded any emotion of fear that the other's were having. So while some were behaving like high school kids, or frightened little children, he'd be in the background all serious as his mind was solely on the monster. All the actors were great and the camera was fairly steady and pleasant to watch. I'm actually fairly disappointed in seeing this average 4/10 rating to be honest.

I agree with you. I liked this. It kept me engaged throughout. It seemed realistic for the most part. "Karl" was a great character. His tale about old "Ted" and the polar bear was reminiscent of "Quint" from Jaws tale of the USS Indianapolis and the sharks. Chilling.

I predicted the ending, though.

Two complaints : the crew was somewhat annoying behaving like frat boys and when they became stranded, Vicky didn't seem as upset as I think she should have been.

FF is not my favorite sub-genre but this really kept my interest. I love Shelley's novel.
