Jamie called the attractive teacher 'Old Lady'

sure I can see how Jamie is mad the teacher had sex with her boy friend, killed her boy friend, framed her for murder but calling her a old lady was absurd and desperate. She looked 35 not 65 LOL. The teacher was mid 30s most and even 40 is middle age, not old lady. The teacher was anywhere between 34-36 ( I am going by what age the teacher looked like , not Josie's date of birth on her IMDB LOL) ....And Jamie will be that age sooner than she thinks, and I understand Jamie won't be trying to pick up 18 year olds when she is in her thirties (maybe) but I can see her call her a lot of things, but LOL at the ridiculous old lady insult. If we are old men and old ladies by middle age, we are in trouble LOL. And the teacher did not force her boy friend to have sex. I know he died and she was being framed for his murder, but if he didn't *beep* with the teacher in the first place things would have not gotten so far out of hand . Jamie is not exactly the hottest teen girl around, I mean if he was a cheater, he was a cheater LOL. Some women look better in their 30s than the younger ones with no figure and a pre teen face and acting all whiny

She looked like she was in her 40's with AWFUL plastic surgery. My husband and I were both pretty horrified. It's a shame because she was such a cute girl on Charles in Charge.

Either way, 40 isn't old.

40 isn't old but tbh it's not crazy for an 17/18 year old to call someone 40 (heck even 30) "old". Her body is awesome neck down....face....cat lady looking (can't take away her eyes though are pretty).

-What's more dangerous than sincere ignorance?-

Ah so you might be pushing 40 :)

To a school girl 40 is so old you can't imagine how someone can still be alive at that age.

Ok then, so..
Do you think 40 is young?
It's not!

The reality is this teacher looks better than you and your husband wants to do her. He's not the least bit "horrified", oh P-leez

"She looked like she was in her 40's with AWFUL plastic surgery."

^ EXACTLY this.

'Then' and 'than' are completely different words and have completely different meanings.

Of course it's not "old" to other adults, but to a high school girl? DINOSAUR. Actually, when I was a high school sophomore, there was a [married!] teacher who had an affair with a junior - and a friend of mine. He naturally bragged to a few guys...so it didn't take long before the whole school knew. The guys were all "Way to be, brah!" but the girls were all, "Ew. She is so old!"

She was 24.

When I was 19, I had another friend who dated a 28-year-old divorcee. Not exactly shockworthy, but we all called her "Grandma."

Perspective is everything, especially to catty teenaged girls.

reply

baseballjen, that's hilarious those high school girls called the 24 year old, old when 24 years old is only seven years older than a senior in high school. Even when I was 13 I knew 24 was not old. CATTY is right. LOL. Come on, 28 grandma? LOL ...not even close.

reply

Really? Im a female and I remember when I was in high school there were a few teachers in their 20s and I remember thinkin they were older than me but I remember knowing they were young. I guess everyone has different perceptions or maybe those teen girls felt upset/threatened by the "relationship" in your case. In fact there was one teacher during my freshman year that some girls liked. He was probably in his 20s or 30s.

reply

WOW!!! I'm 30, and the lady in this film, as attractive as she was, could pass as my mother.

Just because someone has a different idea of what looks good than you, doesn't make them jealous.

you sound so ridiculous. if someone killed someone close to me and framed me and i called them old lady thats being nice.. whats wrong with you?

reply

She's in high school, anyone over a year older is sooo old.

Jamie said it in a taunting way and was throwing the fact that Danny ultimately chose her over Ms. Matson back in Ms. Matson's face. She didn't think Ms. Matson was literally an elderly woman, she was saying things to get under her skin and trick her into confessing to the murder.

It's sort of like playing a sport and taunting one of your opponents because they are a lot older than you. They may not be old by real world standards, but you try to get under their skin and throw them off their game.

This.

JM Curve you are point on. But one day and time goes by fast, Jaime is going to be that age before she knows it and I doubt she is going to look as attractive where a teen boy will want to get with her when she is that age. What irks me is Jaime denied Danny sex but teased him, laying on the bed and not giving him any, in a way , it's not the teacher's fault Danny cheated with her in the first place.

reply

Molly had eyes for Danny right away, even before she knew Jamie wasn't "putting out." When she found out she wasn't, she went for the kill (and it just so happened to be on a night when Danny had some major blue balls). But yes, Danny was the one who ultimately made that choice and as we'd eventually find out, bought himself a little more than he bargained for

reply

I would have kept seeing the teacher, seeing as I'm not attracted to teens anyway.

Y'know, I could eat a peach for hours

reply

Sad to say, but to a high school kid, mid 30's is old age

reply

To a high school student 30 is old (that's twice as long as half of them have been alive), let alone 40 😀

Also, I didn't think the teacher was that attractive. Her face looked botoxed or too plastic or whatever, and was pretty creepy. That's not to say there aren't a lot of attractive women in their 30s and 40s, some of whom look way better than 20 somethings, but she wasn't one of them - and regardless, it's gross that someone of her age would be fixated on a high school boy.
