More Time Travel/Slip problems

This movie had too many issues as some of you have already mentioned. Let me add this one:

1.) If old Leopoldo told old Dulce to kill Juan Jose because Juan Jose will kill young Leopoldo, how did old Leopoldo exist? Obviously, Juan Jose had to have killed him for him to know that he would be killed which means he could not have aged to tell old Dulce to kill Juan Jose.

2.) A non-time slip related issue: did Dulce cheat on Juan Jose or not? I thought maybe the letter he found was from her father or another relative.

2) I was under the impression that she was in love with a dying man whom she was carrying a child from, and Juan Jose was probably a friend who was hitting on her or something. The dying bf probably knew about Juan and wrote the letter before dying and told her to go with Juan and pretend the child is his so she would have a good life for her and the child. Juan Jose was most likely not aware she had another lover at the time and after he died, she went with Juan and never told him about the other guy. I wouldn't say she cheated on him, but simply went with another man right after her lover died (because she was pregnant). It doesn't mean she didn't like Juan, but he was probably a rebound.

well that's what I understood.

Regarding #2, I agree w/Kawaii.

Spoilers:

For #1, this appears to be a cycle, so Leo had already seen Juan Jose back him into a corner and knew that the only way to stop him was for his old mother to kill Juan Jose. It's just a loop. Not that he DID die, cause he didn't, but he most likely would have had she not intervened.
