Rodrigo

I think I would have liked it better if there were 4 instead of 3 times converging--1981, the original time. 2011, when Dulce saves Leo. 2041, when Leo saves Rodrigo somehow. And 2071, when maybe Leo and Rodrigo come back to provide guidance to their mom. Or something like that, idk. I just think they should have worked in some way that Rodrigo could have lived. I know not all movies have to have a perfectly wrapped up, happy ending, but there is no way Leo wouldn't have gone back the first chance he got and tried to save his little brother. I mean, both Leo and Dulce time travel back to multiple times, including the day before Rodrigo dies, and they both travel back to some really convenient moments where Leo could be saved, but there is no chance to do the same for Rodrigo? What? The explanation that you can't control the powers of the house and it takes you where it wants to is just a huge cop out, imho.

It was a decent movie in terms of atmosphere, suspense, and acting, though. I have to admit, it did make me cry. There are just a lot of inconsistencies in the plot that I can't get over.

She did try to save him by telling Leo that he must not play together with his brother. It didn't work though and once in the loop there were no do-overs.
