Stylistic Similarity to Radiohead Doc Meeting People is Easy

When I started watching the Unbelievers I was immediately and progressively reminded of the style and manner in which the Radiohead documentary Meeting People Is Easy was made. One of the exact same songs is even used at one point, a Radiohead b side I believe. I assumed without a doubt that it must be the same director and that he just always works with a definitive look and approach but in looking it up it doesn't look like the two films shared a director, cinematographer, or editor. Was the stylistic approach in which this film was made simply a rip off of Meeting People is Easy? Anyone else notice this or know the reason for the similarity?
