Motoko's Memory and History?

Just a bit confused. When Motoko gets her memory erased in the end, and the lady disappears, who is she?
Is she the lady who used her life support to save Motoko when Motoko was in the womb?
I thought it was the widow of the man who raised her at first, but then that women ended up being an implanted false memory. Right?
