HD vs. SD for Arise?

I got the first Arise on Amazon streaming. I got the HD, but it is $2 more. Is there much difference in HD and SD for anime?
I have watched it 3 times now, so if HD is much superior in quality, I will get the rest in HD.

Yea. I got the HD for 1 and 2. Looks marvelous. I hope 3 comes out soon. I have seen the first one 4 times already.

I think i have seen 3 on Canadian or American Amazon for a seriously inflated price though.

I think that is the Japan collectors edition. But I do not think it has subtitles. All four have been released in Japan and are at the Japanese rental store. But, I need English subtitles.

Bit late for OP, but anyway. Not much difference between SD and HD.

Colours are a little bit sharper I guess. HD doesn't have the same effect on 2d animation.

Thanks Ghosthunter123424. I got the first two in HD. They looks super sharp. Someone said if I am asking, I will probably notice the difference and it will bug me so I will stick with the HD. Thanks for your reply though. I have a sony tv with quantom dots (triluminous). So I wonder if the color difference would be exaggerated. But like you said, it probably isn't as much with an anime.

Watched the first 2 eps in HD on Netflix.
Man it looks so beautiful.
Especially the opening credits.
Definitely will be buying this on bluray soon.
