Oil prices

I wonder if the filmmakers sort of feel foolish, having so confidently announced that gas prices were going to go up and up, with gas below $3 / gallon never to be seen again. It's kind of darkly amusing that prices were plunging so drastically even as the movie was being released.

Likewise, the film highly touts Brazil's success. Now Brazil's economy is a complete mess.

I know these things are hard to predict, but I do feel that lots of docu-ish films like this tend to rely too much on empty, unsupported general statements by obscure talking heads.

Agree. I know it will go up again, but right now gas is 2.20

Maggots Michael, you're eating maggots.
