Do you think Vanessa is really that beautiful?

It is mentioned many times throughout the series how beautiful Vanessa is, and I see a lot of fans agree but I really tried to see her as such but to me she is very peculiar looking. It is the droopy shape of her eyes and her forehead mainly that had me scratching my head. I'm not trying to hate on her, and I don't think she is ugly. I just have a hard time believing her as the beautiful leading lady and all these characters wanting her so badly. I suppose it's true about beauty being in the eye of the beholder and such.

I thought that show was terrible, and didn't watch that much of it, but what I did watch, I watched for Eva Green who is totally gorgeous.

Lol I love the show, I just could not suspend my disbelief enough to see her as some bombshell that the characters make her out to be. But a lot more people agree with you than with me! Cheers :D

A lot of it is in her attitude. There's something seething in her that's irresistible.

Agreed, she plays.her character to a T and she projects a self confidence which of course we know is largely a front because of her spiritual conflict, but yeah that is an attractive quality. Also the poster below mentioned her eliciting a primal reaction of sorts. Both of you gave very good answers and gave me a lot of insight, thanks!

There is beauty but I think for her it’s more than that. She elicits a certain primal reaction perhaps. She plays very much that kind of character in the second Sin City.

Thanks for the response. I will admit i was nervous about posting because people can be so mean when they sense you are hating on a precious character they like....that said, I see what you mean. She is captivating in her own way and I love her acting/the way she plays the character and she is very intriguing so she doesn't have to be "traditionally" beautiful to still be desirable.

And the character she plays in 300: Rise of an Empire. She has animal passion, total self-confidence and overwhelming sexual appeal. I’ll take a woman like that over a conventional supermodel Kewpie Doll ANY DAY . . . and I will relish taking her, every single time!

Note: so “Mrs” is a woman. Women are always catty to each other, aren’t you. “Well, I don’t think she’s so pretty.” Have a cow, bitch.

Eva Green was really sensuous in that first (?) Craig / Bond movie. She won me over there, so ever since I've been interested in her.

I thought Eva Green was gorgeous in Casino Royale, but change someone's hair and make-up, maybe they don't look so hot. I don't think this character needs to be smokin' and Ms Green is 13 years older than she was in CR.
