What's the plan, walking straight out in the forrest, with the closest civilization 9 hours away? I trust Ellen Page hunting skills but the baby is kind of slowing them down.

There's no reason why they couldn't live. Imagine they traveled, found a nice place that was empty and there you go the rest is history.

I know the ending made no sense. I would imagine they'll die within a week of living in that tree, with the cold and rain, no fireplace, no shelter really.

I got to the end and thought - yep, their stuffed. All be dead within a year. But at least they found themselves and had their rape baby first, right?

for me.. it didn't matter how long they survived..
it was a buddy movie for sisters..
