Realistic depiction of physical confrontation between a man and a woman

And I'm referring to Eva's rape scene. She was fit, she was athletic, she had some basic knowledge of self-defense, yet still she stood almost no chance when facing someone considerably stronger. It's a basic notion that many many films tend to gloss over, when a 55 kg woman somehow manages to beat in hand to hand combat guys twice her weight.

Overall, good movie (I gave it a 7), top-notch acting and beautiful cinematography.

The limits of my language mean the limits of my world.

I know right? Men can regularly beat up aliens, mutants, cyborgs, vampires and werewolves with their bare knuckles, but a woman beating up a man...? That would be pure nonsense.

People who don't like their beliefs being laughed at shouldn't have such funny beliefs

I have some experience with modern dance. 3 years, just to stay fit not professionally, and I know that she would know how to do various kicks even martial art style, and give punches. So normally she could beat the crap out of an average untrained loser like Stan.
Of course it's one thing to know how to defend your self theoretically and another actually doing it. Fear can make you forget what you know. Eve though tried to use her knowledge to defend herself and I though she would knock him down and kill him with the axe.

No. What happened in the movie is what would happen to pretty much any chick, even against an untrained guy like Stan. They would beat the shit out of her. Or you, if you are a woman, even with your 'modern dance' experience. No offense.

If girls want to beat guys they need a weapon. And they need to know how to use it very well. A woman beating a man in hand to hand combat is extremely rare.

Also, she kicked the guy in the nuts, but he just kept going. If a man is kicked in the nuts, he's going to lose all interest in rape, or anything else for that matter.
