Emotional and compassionate

I recall seeing something like this before, but I can't recall what it was. Otherwise this was a good movie. Good performance by Ellen Page. Supporting actress gave decent support. My only complaint was the ending. I couldn't understand where the boyfriend went. I feel the two sisters could have needed his company. However this is something worth seeing,. A good attempt to show how we humans would want to survive if we were faced with harsh unpredictable circumstances.
