Yeah Yeah, We Get It ... Nice Lecture, Thanks [spoilers]

Or what happens when you let a woman direct a People-In-A-Box.

Ten minutes in I thought for sho I'd be recommending this. Halfway through, I was enjoying it. But by the end I was pissed me off. I knew where it was going, and you will too (the title is a clue). It even covers a theme that is central to my life.

But then ...
Hey everybody ... it's LLLLLLLLLLLECTURE TIME!!

At this point, I just knew a woman had directed it. That's okay in theory of course, but in practice, here ... ugh. The story is so ham-fisted it requires a perfectly well-built house to collapse for no reason. In the Northwest, you see, where it rains hourly, no one builds a roof that can hold it back. Even a fully automated house with gadgets that don't even exist yet -- you got it. Caved in in eight months. Let's you, me, and the baby move out to a damp treehouse in the forest. Yes, I'm sure that's the answer. God damn -- reality, anyone?

Too bad, cuz it's otherwise pretty good. Too hot babes, rainy Northwestern forest, a beautiful house, some pig blood ...
