Has "Oscar" written all over it...
...not because it will be an outstanding, unique piece of art no.
But because the lead actor is dead and the movie itself deals with homosexuality.
I call it now.

I'm afraid Hollywood is that shallow and predictable, yes.
You will probably disagree. That's the nature of discussions -- they have two sides.
Actually in all its 87 year history, there has only been TWO actors to receive awards posthumously. So when you say "it's a definite coz he's dead" I do believe you are talking out of your a$$.
Also the 'coz it deals with homosexuality' argument doesn't hold water. Remember when Brokeback Mountain DIDN'T win best picture?
Neither Peter Finch nor Heath Ledger had won an Oscar. Robin Williams has.
The Academy isn't stupid enough to waste a best-actor Oscar on a dead man who already had one.
