Corin Nemec bad choice for a Starship Captain.

He is well known for The Stand and Parker Lewis, Kooky weird off characters. A terrible choice for a Starship Captain.

I can't take Parker Lewis seriously in anything.

I don't really remember him from the projects you noted. I thought he was the best part of a bad fan film. He knew how to work with the material he had.

Watch his season on Stargate SG1, I think he did a great job in both.

I could not disagree more. Corin was one of the best things about this movie.

You're talking about a character he played in the 1980's that most people don't even remember. Nemec was a great choice for the part and honestly in my opinion, one he took command of, no pun intended, and was impressive as well as believable. Seriously it's funny...it's like you have a Parker Lewis obsession. Face it, the dude looked and acted the part, and if there were another series and he was cast as the captain...I would definitely watch it.

Sorry, have to disagree, he was fine and given the material he had to work with, commendable. Furthermore, in contrast to most of the other people around him, he stood out as one of the better actors there. Why bring up different roles from years ago? If anything, that shows range as an actor.
