Just finished it... Worse than the worst TV episode.

This movie felt like it was made by retards.

-Horribly lit or overlit. The outside scenes look ok... but thats about it
-FEEBLE costumes. they look like they were assembled with staples.
-Good ship to ship CGI... but terrible planets, citys, buildings, mountains et al.
-Name dropping galore. Kinda silly. (nimoy memorial park... wtf)
-Make up looks like it was applied with a shovel.
-Little to no Tuvok... TOO MUCH Chekov.
-really REALLY bad set design.

They could have saved a ton of money and not used ANY established actors, then use that money on sets... location shots... make up... CGI.

LOL, exactly what I thought 5 min In. Feels like a fan production. I can't watch any more.

Rubber boulders would have actually improved it.

There's nothing worse, than bad CGI that looks like some 1990s low budget tv-movie - or even worse!

And the bad digital camera look and the lighting. And don't get me started on these cr@ppy "uniforms" (and I once thought, the Voyager Uniforms were bad - boy, was I wrong!)

I am still baffled about how bad STAR TREK;: RENEGADES is!

Seriously, Tim Russ: I LOVE you as Tuvok. You are a great actor - but please do not direct movies.

Man, they had so much money from crowdfunding - I guess, they spent 99 % of it for all these actors that were once famous and young...

And wow - when something in the very first minute looks like the random zero-budget fan film (FX wise) - and then immediately looks like they filmed actors on a stage doing some highschool play... well, then you're in for some special treat...

Serously: After all the hype about being a potential pilot for a tv-series and all the money they had, they should have hired some competent cinematographers and director instead of blowing the money out of the airlock for Parker Lewis and his crew of space pirates :-D

...Worse than "The Way to Eden" ("The Space Hippies" episode) from the original series? The set for the Federation Starshir is horrible. SNL had a better Bridge set for that ST parody back in the 1970s. THAT and those CRAPPY uniforms.

I hope you noticed the amount of closeups no doubt to disguise the fact there were no props. Awful acting - direction and just about everything else. A travesty.
