A rather predictable, anti-climactic film about backwoods people and their adherence to tradition. Watch "The Village" instead. Not a horror film, nor a particularly arresting drama.

shareWhat the **** are you talking about? The movies don't share any plot similarities or themes? And the village was pure s*** with absolutely no value and tried to be so much more than it was. This was a simple and effective tale meant to stand on its own as a piece of southern gothic folklore. And in my eyes it accomplished that. You should watch a few decent films before posting on a forum about movies.
sharei disagree with you about the village but i also disagree with op about jug face. i think both films have their strengths and weaknesses. great premises but sort of poor execution. tbh i feel very neutral about both of them as films but think they would both make great YA novels. for what it's worth.
