Where Can you buy new super heroes?

I assumed it would be in Deadpool's bedroom, but I can't find where to buy guys. Can you buy guys, or do you have to find them all? A Little help please?

On my (Xbox 360) version, you just have to hold the Y button, which brings up the character menu. You can buy the characters right off of that when you've collected the corresponding tokens.

Around New York are platforms that you can use to teleport back to the helicarrier there is also a chance to buy
any unlocked vehicles or characters.
