Just started watching season 2

I loves season 1, great atmosphere, solid acting for the most part. I especially like the first half of the season but I also seem to be the in the minority who actually liked the end of the first season.

I just started watching season 2 and my god this show feels lame. Once the mystery is gone, then what's the point? The writing and the acting now feels like a run of the mill soap opera. And was the music as cheesy and ubiquitous in season 1 or does it just bother me now that I'm not fully engulfed in the show?

Is there any point in continuing to watch the rest of the season or is the rest like the first episode?

I finished season 2 just so i could see how the stories wrapped up for all of the characters from season one.

So, spoiler alert, i have no reason to watch the potential season 3
