I think it's strange you don't see Kev in a hospice dying from cirrhosis.

Well he ended up in hospital in season 2 because of his drinking.

With severe liver damage. Yet it's "Months later" and Kev's just fine! Come on Gervais, show some conviction in your material. I expected Kev to be dead in months.

Why is he even in the old folks' home?
In one episode he's even on a patient's bed

What on earth are the staff doing to keep their patients safe?

Kev is like an old, nasty, mangy dog that just wanders in off the streets one day. It's unhygienic, *beep* everywhere, and isn't really good for anything, but you pity it and eventually you just sorta let it stay there and over time you get used to it.

Kev is that dog.

Yeah but w/o Kev, the show loses most of its humor.
