Best Seagal Movie since Urban Justice, but it's more a Bren Foster movie
This movie does what early Seagal's did well surround the guy with excellent character actors.
Now some of his fight scenes are poor but much better than a lot of his recent DTV.
But Seagal is not the lead most of the movie is led by Bren Foster, who makes an excellent hero and a solid screen fighter. All the fight scenes with Foster are good, he could join the ranks of Scott Adkin anytime soon.
Most of the location are well chosen, except one. There is one scene where Seagal is surrounded by two girls and an associate sitting by his side, Bren Foster comes back from a failed mission to report to Seagal. Anyways in that scene the location is soo uninteresting. I was satisfied with all the locations in the film, which is not easy, but this one struck at me to be real bad. Maybe if the scene would have been quicker... I don't know...
The movie is fun the whole thing could have been a notch better. Seagal should keep on going in that direction. His acting was solid in this flick. The grade "C".
The director is good I'd like to see what he would with another lead. It'd be fun to see him direct a Lundgren flick, or anything else for that matter.
