Constant F-Bombs + N-Words is hilarious + funny!!! HAR HAR HAR.....WTF?!

I watched a preview via ign of Kevin Harts movie a few minutes ago, and I have to say I'm disgusted.

I am so disgusted of the hypocrisy of our society where a black man can get on a stage and use the worst language possible, say the n-word over and over, and people laugh and have a great time.

But a woman who admits saying the n-word 30+ years ago, is tried in the public courts and looses her entire empire.

Now you tell me where the justice is in that?!

I am sick and tired of the blacks using the n-word. If the blacks want to get rid of racism they need to simply look in the mirror. Blacks and the use of the n-word is holding themselves down.

Shameful.

Use of the N-Word by both blacks and whites is the definition of ignorance. I'm not African American, and even I can see the damage that word could carry regardless who speaks it.

A Syrian guy of all nationalities linked me to this video on youtube on why black people shouldnt use this word, so imagine that... people on the other side of the world to you, knowing more about stupidity of the use of this word than Americans: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wD-UpHlB9no

You people need to chill out. The N word is a word, just like any other word in the English language. It's nothing magical about it. Nothing is going to explode, or die if anyone says it. It's all about context. I'm black myself, and personally while I don't use the word in an everyday basis, I understand that it's not necessarily offensive based on why it's being used. As far as Paula Deen goes: the whole thing was stupid. However, I haven't met a single black person that was too upset about the whole thing. It was mostly liberal whites who wanted her crucified. This movie is a comedy. For sake of satire, comedy, or historical reasons, I have no problem with the n word being used. I don't care if a white person says the n word. Quintin Tarantino says the word all the time in his movies, and the dude is a god to me. All about context.

Seems to me your problem isn't with *beep* it's with "the n-word."

Also, not sure if you paid much attention to the actual news story or just the backlash, but it was reported that the lawsuit against her includes reports of her having her workers segregated, having the black employees come through different doors than the white employees, and routinely paying white employees more than black employees. Also, the person who filed the suit was a white woman.

And lastly, to directly quote Ms. Deen "I can't, myself, determine what offends another person." I say that to say, I'm not offended by "the n-word," and it's not even the most offensive thing you can say to me. But if other people are, who am I to tell them not to be offended?

Just as an aside, people who say "the n-word" instead of the actual word offend me a lot more than those who just own up to, and say the word. And I'd like to point out very little of this has anything to do with Kevin Hart.

I wish i could say your post had relevance I wish i could say you did your research but from reading this opinion it looks like you just wanted a reason to vent about your idol getting just deserts

I'm to lazy to go into great detail but the word exist they earned that little right to say it I won't let you sit here and try to reverse it so that a rich white woman gets to play the victim

When I hear the argument "Well durrr black people say it so why can't I" this is an argument I expect from a child because they lack self control akin to a 15 year old saying "daddy why can't I drink the wine from the fridge"

If you actually did any research instead of just getting upset because one of your precious Hollywood idols got burned maybe you'd understand

I just keep looking at your post thinking my god did he even try -_- why didn't you do a google search the information was right there explaining the crimes she had committed

I do not care about Paula Deen at all. I was using her as an example.

What I do care about is injustice. I cannot stand hypocrisy. I do not tolerate intolerance.

The fact that certain groups can use the N-word and not be punished for it while others are is horrible.

Kevin Hart is insulting and a fantastic example of what is wrong with American society. That was the point I was trying to make.

Women get paid less than men even when they have the same qualifications and are doing the same exact job. There has never been a law passed about the reproductive rights of men but there needed to be a historic Supreme Court decision about the reproductive rights of women. George Zimmerman has still not been sent to jail for murdering a kid in cold blood. Those three things are examples of hypocrisy and things that need to be rectified post-haste. Those things? Injustices. A white woman being slandered for saying racist things? Oh, the humanity. Help, somebody, save her.

A person has the right to say whatever it is they want to say. The ramifications of that is, as most adults do know, what you say can be used against you in the state of public opinion and generally in all parts of life. For instance, if you were to go to your job and call your boss all manner of mean-spirited, four-and-five-letter names in a public area, would you or would you not expect that to get back to them, and then would you or would you not expect to be punished? Free speech is free, of course, but as many a wise man has said, don't be stupid.

Preach it... they don't know!

The "certain group" you're talking about is the one that was called that word for hundreds of years, with a side of racism and systemic discrimination.

I can't come up with any non-racist justification for non-blacks to complain about blacks using the word. They usually use it as a term of endearment. If people decide that it's somehow okay to use it as a term of hate upon seeing blacks using it endearingly, which side is in the wrong in this scenario?

reply

...black folks as well as realistic white folks are sick and tired of this particular N'word point. "They can say it why cant we" BS. No one is stopping you, use it. I don't care, and most black folks I know want care either.

I remember back when Isaiah Washington was fired from Greys Anatomy for using the F word that rhymes with "maggot", even though plenty of gay people use that word.

We've reached a point in our society where openly saying something negative of another minority group is looked down upon and punished as to deter others from adopting that behavior.

That said, people can use negative words aimed at their particular group because that's just the way it is. Gay people can call other gay people the F word, women can call other women the C word, Mexicans can call each other whatever the dominant Mexican slur is, and black people can call themselves the N word. Doesn't mean you have to like it, I know I certainly don't but that's just one of those cultural things. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fVIs0D2acgw

I agree. If anyone knew what that word's definition truley is, which is as easy as cracking open a dictionary, no one would use it toward someone of their own race. It's just ridiculous ignorance and stupidity.

reply

White people...Forever the victims. *tears*

reply

My post said nothing of white people, actually, it said no one of any race. If a white man calls a white man, *beep* he clearly has no idea what that word means. Same goes to blacks, Asians, anybody. It's an insult against the entire race so if you say it to someone of your own race, you're basically insulting yourself.

reply

Yeah, if I had a criticism, it would be that, but I tried to keep in mind that I was not his target audience. He was playing MSG at the time...A large contingency of Harlem folks were in the audience, and like it or not, that is language they use and he was relating to them. I imagine on his tour stop in Oslo and Canada he toned down the language a bit as the audience had a different composition.

stop BITCHIN and stirring up racist *beep* last time i checked it was a white guy who exposed her so blame that white guy, instead of finding another way to attack blacks.

I dont like the word and im black/hispanic. Growing up if we said *beep* we eould have been popped in the mouth. Words that have hateful connotations just shouldnt be used. Its like how the word bitch is used sorta. Some women use it as a term of endearment with each other. But let a man call a woman a bitch. Same with f@g with gays. Who can and cant use certain words is crazy. They just shouldnt be said.
