I can't find the words.......

....to describe how bad this movie was. I've seen bad, and I've seen bad. This movie was really, really bad. The acting is beyond atrocious. You'd think they grabbed some of these people right off the street. The SFX looks like something someone made on a home computer. It is horrible.

What is really funny is one of the reviews. Someone actually wrote a 7 paragraph review on this movie. Obviously someone linked to the movie, because they joined IMDB just to write it.

It was agonizing to sit through. Don't waste your time.

Hey, R. Presley Stephens (writer), Kimberly Britt (story), and Stephen McKendree (director)! Can you reimburse me my $1.30?

I agree. Probably the worse movie I have ever endured. I wanted to put something else on but my husband wanted to finish watching it. It was unbearable!

reply

I can venture a guess as to why he wanted to finish watching. I kept watching because of the main actress, something about her.

reply

I agree. The acting, the sound, the plot, it all was so very bad :(

I was struck by the awful sound design... They seemed to just use what the boom mic picked up with no editing or re-recording.

The "actress" who played the "lead" was a local high school student. (Should I say Spoiler Ahead??) The DVD I watched had an "extra" (one of several!) that showed how they froze the shot of the "mean, mean, evil spirit!" jumping on top of the girls in the bed at the end, and then superimposed it over another shot of them. They also slooooowed way down the shot of his falling and had the girls kick their legs up in the air to "make it look like he was levitating." (This was all explained with a good deal of pride, I might add.) This may answer the "special effects" question?

reply

They made the SFX on the Windows XP(14 year old OS when this was made) computer in the movie.
