WHY would Josh Fox not defend his opinion?

If you're so against something, you have to have your facts to back it up, so don't shy away from questions. What are Josh Fox's motives for being so against fracking? One thing about this documentary is that they never said why they think Josh Fox is making up his findings? Or, shall I say, knowingly using a fake expert to back up his 'facts'. What does he gain? There's always going to be people for and against anything thats controversial. If you're going to be an anti-fracking spokesperson, be willing to back up your claims!

Not saying I'm for or against fracking, it just bugged me about this documentary.

He has no defense, he was caught lying. About 90% of the "facts" he chose to spew were completely false. The same can be said of the claims from the couple who's water was perfectly fine. Despite being EPA confirmed they chose to cling to their lies and turned hostile when they were given the test results.
