Is there a "Part 2"?

I just saw the 1 hour 20 television movie and it finished on an open end. Is that because the book it was based on also has such an ending? Or is there a second movie planned?

I wondered same.

H/e makes better sense now having just read via a poster on Y/tube:
"This is actually a pilot show from the USA network. This show was not picked up"

So there you go - the array of developing characters & storylines that seemed to have been set up & the "2 years" that were to come...wellll...NADA :)

Oh, OK, that explains it then. Rather disappointing it wasn't picked up. Although I'm not sure I'd want to see a whole TV season of this story. I would however have been game for a "part 2" movie!

Its based on a Elmore Leonard Novella. It ends ambiguously with her and Killers she hired to kill the husband to the Party Girl Stripper turned housewife and her having a discussion about her plans. She implying to the housewife they might want more money.
