this film is scify quality just like the actors in it ,it sucks big time if your familiar with scify channel quality and like it ;then this is for you .If not don't waste your time. go cut grass or read a really good book do something that will benefit you in someway .
Let face it, people hate art movies. Especially when they are not expecting an art movie
SyFy movies and art movies are the exact opposite. You're not making any sense. And a lot of people like art movies. That's why art movies keep getting made.
shareActually, 95% of the population couldn't care less about *beep* art films. This is also why most of them result in huge financial loses for their backers. Not to say that there aren't some great ones out there, but most should just be heaped onto the bonfire.

Well, saying 95% was just meant to imply that the "the overwhelming majority" don't like arthouse films. Also, you are correct in that most art films are done on a low budget and made by people who aren't necessarily interested in making money, but that doesn't change the fact that most are horrendous and universally panned by the general public. They are often far too pretentious, agenda-driven, nonsensical, and poorly acted to amount to anything entertaining. That's my take on it.

But there are some people out there who LOVE art films & hate anything mainstream or genre-based.
I'm not saying that those are the types of people I'd prefer to hang out with - but they are out there.

Very true. I also find it amusing that the people who hate anything "mainstream" always seem to forget that it's the profits from those films which fund arthouse/indie films in the first place. I personally watch and love films from all genres, and can't stand the snobs who have such narrow and bleak tastes.
shareI don't think this is an art film, aside from the fact that I couldn't quite figure out what all those flashbacks meant at the end. It was funn has heck though if you suspended the need for any clear messages.
