Think "Metamorphosis"--MAYBE SPOILER

Folks commenting on the Netflix site are either grandly ignorant or dull. I think the reviews here are okay but miss the point. This film shows humans doing mundane things, from the cat's perspective. And overall, they behave like cats. I admit that I didn't really get the joke until maybe 10 minutes after it was over. Take note of these: the little kid who shows up looking for his playmate, saying "Halloo!" repeatedly, then going out to play with his ball; the fascination with a rat in the parking lot bushes; the posture of the brother and sister standing closely as they look out the window. This is witty, funny, subtle and funny, and a delightful bit of puzzle. Not for viewers with short attention spans who need quick cuts, explosions or gross bloodletting.
