Do they stop the singing and start the comedy?

I'm 30 seconds in and it's just awful.

Lol! Is there really singing?

12 minutes of awful. Save your life, dont watch!

It's described quite clearly as a MUSICAL comedy... and, yes, there are several non-sung stretches. But the songs and music are good, the comedy light but topical. I enjoyed this.

I kinda liked it, the songs were cheesy but it was sorta funny and ill probably watch it again

Musical comedies aren't really my thing, though I was hoping for a little bit more. However it skates way too close to "Glee" territory and was lacking a bit in the comedy department.

I pretty much only enjoyed the Josh character. The Kate character was decent enough. Bebe Neuwirth was horribly overused. If her role was shrunk a bit, it would have probably worked better for me. I don't like people fictional or real who are confrontational-for-the-sake-of-being-confrontational so Gabriel would have been better off remaining fired.

In the end it is less frustrating than the Onion News Empire pilot, in that not every single thing is a "witty" one-liner, but it lacked the comedy I was hoping for with too much of that sappy Glee-musical garbage.

"No, not the mind probe!"
