The Fault In Our Stars vs A Walk to Remember?

Which one was better and why?

I felt both were similar and pretty predictable in terms of the ending.

I was much older and out of high school already for both so they both may have not really identified with me as it did to a younger generation, but I could see how it would if I was much younger and still in High School when these films came out.

I feel A Walk To Remember started off strong but ended in a very cliche easy way almost too soon as if they skipped the entire 4th act or something?


The Fault In Our Stars had a much better ending in my opinion and just a far superior writer and novel author etc.

What do you think?

TFIOS made me think about life and death where as AWTR did not, maybe because Mandy Moore never really looked sick or like she was dying in that movie? Perhaps stronger acting from Shailene and Ansel? than Mandy and Shane?
