Has anyone here read her book/diary? Is it mostly comprised of inspirational quotes like the ones they played in the house scene in the movie, or is it more of a description of her situation with a few "quotes" thrown in here and there? Thinking about getting it and just curious.
shareYes I have. I bought it at the Anne Frank house in Amsterdam. No, it's not comprised of inspirational quotes. It's just the diary of a young girl who was in hiding from the Nazis in WW II, and eventually died in a concentration camp.

I had to read that for school about 3 years ago. There's an entry in the book where she talks about having the hots for her female friend and asking her if they could touch each other's boobs as a proof of their friendship (weird to guys, but it's a girl thing), but she refused. Then she said in her diary she just went up to her female friend and just made out with her (without asking or anything). Anne Frank was bi-sexual, but leaned more on the girl side. Other than that, Anne Frank's diary was super boring.
