I literally just saw this scene. I've paused the movie to see what anyone has posted, and the VERY FIRST POST is about this! This is as good a scene as any that I have ever witnessed. Bravo! Perfect and brilliant.

She is also in no country for old men as the motel lady

I think she was placed in the movie to give a taste of the deceased mother's personality. She was the perfect image of how the mother had been described.

This is one of the funniest movie scenes of the last few years. Hilarious.
