It absolutely blows my mind how Chris Pine's acting ability has been overlooked so much as of late.

He did an absolutely amazing job in this movie, and why he isn't nominated for best actor is absolutely beyond me.

Jeff Bridges is Jeff Bridges....he is amazing.

Ben Foster is new to me and I have to say what a great actor too.

Just last week I watched The Finest Hours with Pine/Foster in that, and they did an amazing job there too with Hell or High Water of course superior performances.

Gosh it would be great if this movie picked up some awards at the Oscars, but since it isn't about lesbians, transgenders, homosexuals, and or the destruction of the planet....it probably isn't going to win anything.

I think its because the best actor category is one of the hardest to get nominated in if he had been seen as supporting he may have gotten nominated.
