What a waste.

I can't believe that two of the greatest Shakespearean actors alive today are doing this garbage. They must have signed on before they read the script.

What a waste? Just like your life! :)

Ooh. That cut me to the quick. You must write for this show, when you're not watching cartoons.

Ah, there's the level of wit I expect from someone like you. Congratulations.

Simmer down kids it's JUST a message board. Also, why do people come on to a shows board just to say how much they don't like the show and all that good crap? Must not have anyone to talk to in real life because they bitch too much.

reply

two old bastards who love to hate each other, what's not to love. I may be wrong but I don't think either of them have played a gay man before, that alone would be a reason to do it and to be able to say whatever they like.

OH SPOILER ALERT!

reply

Sir Derek Jacobi played Alan Turing in "Breaking the Code" and the painter Francis Bacon in "Love is the Devil" both of whom were Gay.

reply

McKellen got an Oscar nom for playing James Whale, who was also gay.

Its that man again!!

reply

Must it just be for the money? Could this show be more insulting? It's like Amos 'n Andy for homos!

reply

Homos? Really? Newsflash! It is no longer 1955.

Or... they just have a different side to them they are sharing for the first time?

Nothing more horrible as an actor than to always play the same type of roles.

It won't be everyone's cup of tea but I'm sure this show has a high rating, well, because most people find it funny. Different folks, different strokes.

reply

I think that both of them must be just as hard up for work as Ian McKellen's character in the show.

reply

I just discovered it this weekend and found it very funny. Sometimes a little campy is fun. They probably needed a change from Shakespeare...
