Were McKellen and Jacobi Only Available For 6 Episodes ?
i was thinking is it possible the two stars were only available
to shoot 6 episodes? again i don't know how you can call 6 episodes
a season.
That's how they do it in England. I remember "The Vicar of Dibley" being the same way.
"Vicious" is amazing. I wish there were 50 episodes a season.
thanks for the info. as i see it since Vicious season#1 only had 6
episodes that means people will have to wait almost a year between
seasons. whereas in the U.S. most network primetime series have 22
episodes so you have to wait as little 4 months maybe 5 months for
the new season to start.

Back in the 50s, some series ran as many as 39 new episodes per year - US TV paralleled the school year, starting in September and running thru May. Reruns really were just in summer.

Also "Fawlty Towers" -- 2 seasons (4 years apart, no less) of six episodes. Just the way the British do it.
