Anyone else think "Gun For Jennifer"?

I watched this last night, and quite liked it.
I know other threads complain about the (Un) realism of what Julia does and questions how she gets the drugs, that they would show up in autopsy, her being shot etc, but its a movie. We also don't see her eat, *beep* or piss, but that all happens in every day existence. But movies need to skip some of these things, to reach their conclusion.
Anyway, I thought it was pretty well made, nice audio and visuals. A great central role of Julia.
But everyone mentions the obvious Rape/Revenge movies..."I Spit", "Last house", "M.S.45", but I think this movie, has much more in common with " A Gun For Jennifer".
I know it's a rare, not greatly shot/acted indie movie from 97, but "Julia" could be seen as a Remake/Reboot/Re Imagining, especially in this day and age of all the reeboots.
A rape victim, gets seduced by a group of violent, women vigilante's, hell bent of ridding the city of ALL the scummy, misogynistic male, would be rapists.
Just my thoughts. Anyone else agree or is it just me???
