Abortion is social responsibility. It's legal. So take your Sharia law somewhere else or move to somewhere like Iraq where it's illegal.

reply

[deleted]

It's legal. Get over it. Wanting to put your version of Sharia law on everyone else is what's wrong. This doesn't effect you so keep your laws off other people's uterus. Fetuses aren't people, ova aren't people sperm isn't people. This is your issue, not society"s that's already been decided so again, move. There's plenty of religious governments in the Middle East which have laws you'll love. Except Tunisia, they have state paid for abortion.

reply

[deleted]

Nope, it's not. Go to Iran, they don't have separation of church and state. And the real pity is conservatives only care for fetuses, afte birth you could care less. Go to Iran.

The mutilations and witch burning all come from religion, just like your views on abortion. Case closed.

reply

[deleted]

Ethically it's not your decision. Case closed.

In The Moral Case for Abortion,

Ann Furedi argues that:
Every woman should have the right to decide the future of her pregnancy according to her conscience, whatever her reasons or circumstances
Abortion should be accepted as a safe, effective means of birth control in modern society
Access to abortion is an integral part of women’s reproductive health care and women have the ethical right to receive this along with other supportive services
Legal, political, social and economic changes are necessary worldwide to allow women to exercise reproductive choice
Drawing on the traditions of sociological thinking and moral philosophy, Furedi asserts that true respect for human life and regard for individual conscience demand that we respect a woman’s right to decide. She argues that to prevent a woman from making her own choice to continue or end her pregnancy is to undermine her autonomy, integrity and agency—which are the essence of her humanity.

Case Closed. Bye bye

Can't even go to a frikken movie forum without some male conservative frothing at the mouth and spewing anti-choice, anti-feminist bile.

Do you trolls ever sleep? Discuss the movie or move on. This isn't your personal soapbox/pulpit.

It bothers me, these people making fun of your question. It was very painful to watch that scene, and yes, she was attempting an abortion.

reply

Do it yourself abortion. I actually had to leave the room because the thought of doing something like that to myself really gets to me/freaks me out. But I get it....,desperate times call for desperate measures. It reminded me of the attempted abortion in Revolutionary Road. (Very sad movie.)
