how does this relate to Django Unchained?

thanks!

Black person getting revenge? Just guessing.

Actually, the plot sounds a hell of a lot like Shrunken Heads, one of my favorite Full Moon pictures.

When it says "Beyond Django" I think they are trying to imply 2 things:

1. It's kind of (but not really) similar in that it's about a black guy getting revenge and

2. It's trying to stir up controversy with racial content. Django Unchained was pretty controversial, and while I don't feel the film was racist (Nor do I think this film is racist, albeit in poor, poor taste.) I think it's trying to push some racial buttons in the wake of Django Unchained.

Could be partly right. Ooga Booga originated in the film DOLL GRAVEYARD (2005). Why they decided on this non-spinoff is beyond me.

You are reading way too much into this. the Beyond Django tagline is just a silly joke. This whole movie is mindless nonesense. I mean did you see the scene that took place halfway through the credits?

It is just a joke... The movie has absolutely nothing to do with Django.

That's exactly right.
