Such a sad and unfortunate case. Both the victim and the shooter coming from such broken homes, the school and it's tragic mishandling of the situation. I'm not hear to say Brandon deserved a weaker or stronger penalty or make any case at all involving the students. I just wanted to see how much hate mail everyone thinks the ultra conservative 7th grade teacher and those three jurors will recieve. None from me of course but I can only image that the 7th grade teacher and three nutty jurors will be harassed by different rights groups for awhile. Not saying they should be harassed but they just came out after editing looking like some vile, disgusting, bigotted people...

A gay rights parade out front of the 7th grade teachers house would be pretty insane, after how she responded to the one outside the school...

The jurors are, of course completely anonymous. But they are disgusting bigots.

This happened over 5 years ago, so I think whatever repercussions would have already happened. This story dominated the news cycle for years in California.

Yeah, I guess most of the blowback already occured. But I follow the news and still wasn't informed to the real specifics of the case, just some details. And I'm sure the documentary left some stuff out as well. But I do image, though jurors may be anonymous, that the identities of the three bigot jurors could be discovered easily enough. Not only did they do the documemtary but looks like a bunch of talk shows as well...

You are correct, the jurors have the choice to remain anonymous, but the three bigoted female jurors felt quite comfortable becoming public figures, appearing on national news programs, along with three additional jurors.

I suppose the pro-gay rights folks aren't the types who commit violent reprisals .

The teacher who seemed to think that it was okay for the kids to be walking in the class rooms saying heil to one another...the teacher to seemed to condemn Larry to Hell?

She should be fired.

That c word was a pure dirtbag who was attempting to defend neo-nazi behavior. The whole "save Brandon" thing was so disgusting.
