Murdering someone because they embarrassed you....

Is pretty pathetic grounds for sympathizing with a murderer; as justified by a few posters on this board. How weak minded an individual does one have to be to resort to murder due to public embarrassment? I'm willing to bet that most grown men in this world had at one point in their young teenage years been embarrassed in public & I guarantee that their response wasn't to murder the person who embarrassed them.

I didn't see anyone in this movie sympathizing with Brandon because they had murdered someone themself.

You might want to reread the OP's post. S/he's saying that many people sympathize with Brandon and view his embarrassment as justification for lashing out violently but that, to his/her mind, being embarrassed isn't justification for a violent response.
